With the aeronautical industry focused increasingly on international co-operations and partnerships, the course helped me to identify the key factors of communication in international negotiations. Emphasis was placed on understanding cultural and behavioral factors and techniques of persuasion.
Topics covered
- The negotiation process: preparation, establishing positions, developing proposals,
bargaining and closing
- Negotiation tactics
- National and organizational cultural factors
- Distance negotiation
- Team management and leadership
